I've only travelled as far as Whitehourse, Van.,Alberta and hope to do more in the future.

My name is Lara. I grew up in Nelson and lived there for almost 14 years. I moved to Calgary in the spring of 2002, and I have been working and going to school since. I no longer have any family in Nelson, but My heart is still there in the beautiful Kootenays!! God do I miss Kootenay lake!! The only lake in Calgary is a man made hole of water!! It totally sux!! I miss the mountains, and I miss the woods, but Calgary is a beautiful place if you like the city!!

I've lived in the Kootenays practicaly all of my life and I love it here. I've tried moving to other places but it just isn't the same. This is where I would like to stay and raise a family.
Travelling is something that I would definatley like to do in the near future. I would go to places like Mexico, Hawaii, Florida, and California. Going on cruises would also be in my plans.
